  • An everyday carry evolution.

A member of the Crossbones family, the Kalbi is a versatile everyday carry knife that s been upgraded with Japanese Acuto 440 blade steel for improved edge retention. The practical elegant design of the Crossbones returns, now with an un-missable blue aluminum handle that sets this knife apart as something special.

The Crossbones was designer Jeff Park s first custom knife, born of a partnership with his mentor, legendary knifemaker Ken Onion. This resulted in a very high standard of quality that the Kalbi has now further refined. All of the key functions of the Crossbones return, such as the deep carry pocket clip, IKBS bearings for smooth action, a liner lock for easy one-handed operation, and a handle that provides the perfect leverage for detail work.

While the size and shape of the Crossbones remain largely intact in the Kalbi, the name has changed to differentiate its higher-end position. “Kalbi” comes from a traditional Korean short-rib dish, an homage to Jeff s Korean heritage that maintains a subtle reference to the bone shape of the knife.
